4-13 was the result of a number of old line genetics.
Sire genetics were: DGI Iceberg, DGI Churchhill, DGI Granite,RN Mandate, WFD Willard,
WFD Hershey, CVK Mr. Hope, CVK Miss Hope, Dd Mr. Ty, Dd Maverick, Dd Lady Keel, A-1 Renee,
A-1 Speidel, and A-1 Advance.4-13's mother was the result of frozen semen from NBD Express and
Catalyst 0-0
4-13 did an excellent job siring big bodied,sound, rugged hogs and his daughters are also doing a very
good job in the farrowing house.
4-13 consistently sired high meat quality hogs. Litter mate and progeny meat quality testing with the
National Swine Registry's Pork Quality Alliance for the past 3 years recognized 4-13 as a trait leader for all
Meat Quality EPD’s on the STAGES program.
His progeny excels in marbling, color and pH values in packer cut tests
